Sunday 24th of May 2015, saw R.O.A.R hold its 3rd annual Gala day at the John Cumming Stadium in Carluke. The day was a great success with great food being served, lots of fun on the amusements and tons of great skills on the pitch (more of the kids than the adults). R..O.A.R would like to thank the many parents, businesses and groups that helped run, organise and make sure the day went smoothly. A special thanks to the staff and Carluke leisure Centre for having us, a massive thanks you to Karen Russell who organised many parts of the day, thanks Nancy Middleton, Mandy Baird, Sonia Lynn, Karen Russell & Marilyn Williamson for their help on the day. Thanks to Allison McKenna and Carol Miller of holding the reigns at the front door. To all the parents who took part in the Champions League especially Coltness Utd, Bob Leiper, Cameron Gray and of course oor Andy Anderson with the Coaches coming out Victorious.
On the day we managed to raise over £1500 with donations by those who could not attend pushing this figure to £1900. A fantastic amount which will look to take our players down to a premiership match.
Again the coaches would like to thank all who attended and made the day a special day
Please get your photos up especially the ones of the coaches with their trophies 🙂
We will keep you all posted with our efforts to organise the trip.
